Emulsifier E272e - animal fat free?

E472e - derived from Glycerol.... may contain animal fats?
I assume the E472e emulsifier used in Oatly cream is certified as animal fat free by Dupont?

  • Hi Dave,

The E472e we use in our products consists of a water-soluble part (tartaric acid) and a fat-soluble part (mono- and diglycerides) from rapeseed oil. There are absolutely no animal products used in any part of our range, it is 100% plant-based. You can be sure that there are no animal traces of any kind in our cream, or any other product.

Thank you for getting in touch! If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact us again.

    All the best
    Rowena
