My Oatly product is faulty, how do I file a complaint?

  • Hi. We’re big fans of Oatly Barista Edition and have been drinking it daily for about 18 months. We were somewhat surprised and disappointed when a carton we opened this evening was full of jelly-like lumps (see photo). While these might be completely harmless, they were very off-putting and we didn’t fancy drinking the remaining contents. This carton was out of a six-pack so we’re a bit dubious about the rest. Is this a common issue? It’s the first time we’ve experienced it. Please reassure us and let us know if you are able to compensate us in some way. Many thanks, Ian and Julia Stanbury.

    Thanks for writing to us and I'm so sorry about the mess your Barista Edition turned into. I can only imagine what a downer it must've been when you were ready to have yourself a nice drink and this comes out.

    I'm just going to need to ask you a few questions I hope that's okay:

    Did you notice anything about its smell? I know you said that you didn't fancy drinking it and that it was off putting but did you happen to try it?

    Have you tried the other remaining packages and if so, how were the results?

    Where did you buy the oat drinks exactly?

    Could you please send me a picture of the expiration date and time stamp? They should be next to each other on the top part of the carton.
